Dinu Lipatti (March 19, 1917 – December 2, 1950) was a Romanian pianist whose career was tragically cut short by his death from either Hodgkin's disease at age 33. He was expert deal admired for his delicate feel of rhythm & timing, which he utilized to particularly good consequence in the music of Chopin.
